HARDWIRED AMPS & PREAMPS BUILT FOR ROCK N ROLL!
t h e P R E - Q v 2
TUBE PREAMP WITH FULL BAXANDALL EQ & INDUCTORIZED MIDRANGE CONTROL
Aside from the outstanding customer service and friendly chats throughout the build process of the pedal (PRE-Q v2), this is hands down the most amazing preamp and/or pedal out there. Coming from someone like myself who has owned hundreds of different amplifiers, gain structured pedals, preamps etc, this was the one that finally gave me that WOW factor. Nails the classic VT40 tone and infamous mid control, with the built in boost on top of it? Nothing else like it out there. HIGHLY recommend this unique and custom piece of equipment. Absolutely phenomenal. This is one of the few pieces of gear I will never sell. Thank you AMPSAMPS! -AD

THE PRE-Q IS NOW A 100W AMP!
My Model 2 permanently sits on my desk running into my Universal Audio OX. Best amp I’ve ever owned. Tons of texture and dimension. -BC
What Customers Say:
PRE-Q
Just got one. Absolutely in love. I have a V-4 and a VT-22 and this does those tones really well. Each of those two amps sounds a bit different and so does this pedal, but across them all is a variety of really wicked, mid-forward tones that nothing else seems to do. Highly recommended! -RH
The PRE-Q has a really wide ‘edge of break up’ which I find particularly useful and uncommon… on most amps this is a narrow spot on the volume control, on the PRE-Q you have some range on the edge. -JF
Just had my first band practice using it a couple of days ago. It totally sounded like I was still running my VT-22! I think the low end may even be a bit tighter than the VT-22. I’m very happy with it. -BH
Was just using with my Princeton Reverb and it sounds killer! Fenders have a natural mid-scoop to them, and having something like the PRE-Q to dial in the mids is super useful. -DR
I absolutely love them! Some of the best pedals I’ve ever owned. -BL, on his PRE-Q & Vintage Console Boost
The [PRE-Q V1 & 2] have been so much fun, and they’ve been part of my regular setup since you sent them. I actually use a Kemper a lot, and I have it in front of that to make everything a bit more analog ;) -ES
MODEL 2
My amp arrived this afternoon - woohoo! It sounds glorious. Really impressed with the tonal range and the simplicity. Very cool. Thanks man! Man, those transformers are massive! Anyway, super pleased how it came out. It is a great base tone and power level for most of what I would ever do. I think it’ll pair well with some of my other amps when I want to do a stereo thing, because it’s got its own personality. Love it with both controls right around noon… perfect amount of grit just starting to come in there. Well done, man! Thanks!! -BH
I like the two you built for me a lot… made me okay with selling my old Fender and Vox amps. -DR
Duuuuuuude… it’s reaallllly nice. There’s a common feel with the phase inverter and power stage but the two preamps give a lot of latitude, plus the negative feedback control… man, having fun. Looking forward to a couple hours with it this weekend. Ran it into 2x10 alnicos, 2x12 Bandmaster cab with Oxfords, 2x12 Epiphone cab with Scumbacks. And… for something that’s 70+ years on some parts, it’s quiet and doesn’t snap crackle pop! The 5879 has some meaty poise to it, and the 6J7 just wants to rip… -SD
Billy… this amp is blowing my mind. I have never heard an amp sing until now. There is a level of clarity between the notes that makes it sound like each note is singing. Every note stands out in a chord. I don’t even want to plug any pedals into it. I’m stunned… It’s absolutely brilliant. Thanks Buddy! -CC
